Freedom Checking (Personal Accounts Only)

Freedom Checking has it all. With a low opening balance of $100 you have an account with no minimum balance, no per check charge, no monthly service fee and unlimited check writing. You also receive a free Visa Check Card, Free On-line Banking with Bill Pay, free electronic statements (paper statements available for a fee) and free foreign ATM transactions. Freedom Checking also pays interest at a variable rate on collected balances if you have at least one electronic credit or debit to your account and you use your debit card at least 10 times during a statement cycle. Freedom Checking is not covered under the FDIC Transaction Account Guarantee Program but would be covered under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
